Jeremy Ostermiller, CEO and Co-founder at Edison Interactive, was recently given the honor to speak at CU Denver at The Jake Jabs Center for Entrepreneurship’s Best of Colorado Speaker Series. The program features some of Colorado’s greatest entrepreneurs and business leaders.
Ostermiller is a successful serial entrepreneur, starting his first company at the young age of 14. In 2009, he founded Altitude Digital with an astonishing $500. The company was also recognized for two consecutive years as No.54 on the Inc.500|5000 list. Amongst many company recognitions, Ostermiller has a list of more awards and accolades than most resumes, including the prestigious EY Entrepreneur Of The Year Award®.
His passion for creating solutions in complex environments and drive to persevere has provided him much success in the business world. At The Jake Jabs Center for Entrepreneurship Best of Colorado Series, he discussed with attendees recent and past successes, and how to go about building a business that solves problems and industries in need of disruption.
He provided valuable insight on what it takes to have an entrepreneurial mindset in addition to how Edison Interactive is providing solutions for brands to connect with their customers in more meaningful ways with IoT (Internet of Things) and DOOH (Digital-Out-Of-Home) technology. Ostermiller’s background and knowledge as an entrepreneur is profound, and worth listening to if given the opportunity.
One of the takeaways from the speaker series, which Ostermiller calls his secret ingredients to success are:
- Be Passionate
- Solve a Problem
- Build a Strong Peer Group
- Build an “A” Team
Thank you to CU Denver Business School and The Jake Jabs Center for Entrepreneurship for having Jeremy Ostermiller as a guest speaker. We hope you enjoyed his story as much as we do.
